The McMaster University Faculty Association passed a BDS motion on June 3, 2024. The motion establishes a committee to audit and divest from Israeli companies involved in the genocide and review, with the goal of ending, cooperations with Israeli academic and cultural institutions. MUFA also demands the University protect the rights of students and faculty advocating for Palestine.
